I’m focusing on the positives in life and remembering to see God in all the small things….
- Climbing into bed this morning with each of my girls to wake them up. Impromptu cuddles are the best
- Getting a boring (but necessary) job completed at work yesterday. Thanks to my hubby for heading home to look after the kids and cooking us a fab chicken stir-fry
- Five days of waking early and having enough time to read my bible, journal and pray before the kids get up
- The prospect of a day ahead tomorrow with no particular plans
- Having the choice to not cook dinner and still be able to give all the family a cooked meal as we can join our community for supper
- A crisp blue sky today and no rain (that feels massive, it has rained for too long)
- Writing a couple of blog posts today, I feel like my mojo might be returning
- Enjoying the new rug in our lounge. Everyone that comes round wants to sit or lay on it
Life is good and I’m very grateful. It is important for me to remember to celebrate this.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. Be Blessed, Mich x

I love the idea of taking time to notice the small things and be thankful for them. Impromptu cuddles sound wonderful as does a day with no plan – hope it turns out to be a lovely relaxing one! Love your new blog and looking forward to reading more from it 🙂

Thank you Louise, my hand was forced and I felt I had to start a new one but it is a very good thing. Enjoy the weekend, Mich x
What very beautiful reasons to be cheerful. I liked it when it did rain here as we got a beautiful rainbow so big we could see both ends. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

It is so nice to have a day without rain isn’t it! Just a small bit of sunshine can make you feel so much better. Reading your posts always makes me feel a little calmer somehow so today I am thankful for that. Much love x

Thank you Claudia, an amazing family indeed. Mich x
Over the years that I’ve joined in, and hosted, R2BC has taught me to see the joy in the little things. I have you to thank for that.
That really is a beautiful picture. I do love the crisp, cold, weather. I want to be out in it, then come home to hot coffee and cuddles, lovely x

I did really love having nothing to do last Saturday, Miss E and I had the most enjoyable walk and coffee together. It was special one-on-one time.
